Square Spring Wreath

Spring is a wonderful time to decorate . So many beautiful flowers and creative ways to display them. Wreaths are a great way to decorate for spring. I wanted a wreath for my front door, but only had a large frame to work with.
Step 1: This frame was way too big for my door so I decided to cut it down. I used my chop saw to cut it into a 14 by 14 inch square frame.
You could use any frame that you have that would work.
Step 2: I glued the pieces together and added some stables on the front and back. I could have sanded it but since I was going to cover it, it didn't matter.
Step 3: I cut four pieces of burlap from a coffee grain sack. I also used it on my Home Sweet Home Sign I made preciously.
The grain sack is heavier than the burlap you buy at the store. My frame was thick so it could handle it.
Step 4: I mitered the corners to mimic the frame corners. I began to hot glue the burlap to the frame, but then moved to stapling the burlap to the back. This went faster.
Step 5: I added flowers that I had already fried, like pussy willow, purple statice, baby's breath and a couple others.
A yellow bow finished off the corner.
Step 6: Finished wreath hanging on door.
