Re-fabbed Dresser

DP
by DP
The dresser was so dark that it looked almost black most of the time, the top was a real mess with the cup wrings and I think nail polish remover was spilled on it at one time.
this is one I started with the top drawer and thought to take a picture.
This is the top of the dresser
this is the completed dresser, the wood grain is so much nicer, it is veneer but it looks good, I painted the sides a dark brown because of the veneer wasn't in the best shape, I used a gold in between the drawers to kind of highlight them and make them stand out. The drawers themselves I sanded and only put polycrylic on them

Did you refinish the top the same way? Do you have any photo's of the top after you refinished it? I had no idea you could refinish veneer that way! What did you use for sanding?
