DIY Magnolia Wreath

Create the new farmhouse design staple, a beautiful magnolia wreath.
First, gather your faux magnolia stems and cut off all the individual leaves.
TIP: You will want to leave a little bit of stem on the bottom of the leaves to help secure them to the wreath.
Next, place and then glue your faux magnolia leaves onto the grapevine wreath with a hot glue gun. I found it easiest to work in rows of 3 leaves each, overlapping each row by 1-2 inches.
At times, the centre leaf would be on top of the two side leaves in the row, and sometimes it was on the bottom. This will give your wreath a random by pleasing look.
Tuck the final row of leaves under your first row. Add dots of hot glue under any wayward leaves to keep them in place.
That's it!! You're now finished. Go ahead and hang it where your heart desires.
Some ideas to hang your wreath are on your headboard, above your fireplace mantel, on any door or over an old window.
The farmhouse staple decor item!!
This easy wreath look my only about 40 minutes to make and if you purchased all the material without coupons you would be looking at around $50.00 to make. Happy crafting!

Love it! I have the wreath in my office right now, glue gun and sticks upstairs, ex hubby has a magnolia tree, going to give it a whirl . . . When the leaves get yucky, tear them off an make another wreath! Thanks! 🐞

can you use real leaves since I have a multitude of them everywhere? How would you kill any bugs?
Which magnolia 'branch' did you get off of that website? And, how many did you use to complete the wreath?
