My NYC apartment needed a little loving in the plant department. Since I'm not there most hours of the day I decided to go with a fake one. We all know that I LOVE me some marbleizing. SO - of course I decided to do that to spruce up my new little, fake succulent friend!
Say hello to my new little plant friend!
I bought a $3 egg holder that fit my new friend perfectly.
I decided to go with the nail polish method. Any color and any type of polish will work.
Fill a disposable bowl with warm water.
Pour a generous amount of nail polish in the water.
Dip and roll the egg holder in the nail polish water. Make sure to rotate it so the entire holder is covered in paint!
Let the holder dry over night. Then pop the succulent in! There you have it! My new little friend looks ADORABLE next to the picture of my hometown!!
Enjoyed the project?
