This cheap desk organizer is the easiest DIY I've ever made, and all the supplies were purchased at the dollar store. This is the perfect project for those who want to add color to their desk.

Purchase a circular box from your local craft store/dollar store. Buy some type of acrylic paint. Youcan get really creative here and do a bunch of different colors and designs, or you could do what I did and use one color. Paint the outside of the box and let it dry. You do not need to paint the inside or the bottom as we will be covering it up.
Insert some type of fake greenery or flowers. I love the contrast of the pink with the green. I purchased a long line of fake green leaves from Dollarama.
Add in some pens, pencils, markers, or whatever else you want. I think this acts as a perfect marker holder as the leaves cushion them and keep them upright.
And now you're done! I added in some lipgloss because I thought it looked cute, but feel free to add whatever you want.

Excellent, Excellent! I've been looking for the right thing to store my pens and pencils. I have a cute cut out metal container that would be perfect but they would slip through. Using the ivy would stop that and look so nice on my desktop!
