Don't throw out your food Tin Cans.
I thought you might be interested in an easy way to make some great usable crafts from normally thrown away items?
Most of you will have what you need right now. Food tin cans.
Normally I have one or two a week that I throw out, don’t you?
How about using them for some amazing, cute projects
HOW I MADE MY FLOWER POT TIN CANS
So to get this project started I collected my 3 tin cans & cleaned them
Now it was time to paint
I used Rust-Oleum spray paint in Flat White…..
Let dry for a couple of hours
After the tin cans are dry
Add drain holes
I used an ice pick and hammer to make the holes
Next I added stones/rocks to the bottom of each tin can for good drainage
PLANTS
Now for the fun part adding the plants
I decided on these cute ground cover plants
They grow beautifully in pots and they can tolerate dry, full sun conditions
So if you forget to water them everyday they will tolerate a forgotten day here or there
But try not to forget like I do sometimes.
I sat all three in a large flower pot saucer to protect the table or the surface I have them on
I move them from front porch to back porch, depending on where I will be spending time
COMPLETED FLOWER POTS
So there you have it. Easy, fun way to create cute flower pots.
Also, these would make wonderful hostess gifts. Make one for your friends. They will love it.
