This is a simple project to give you a little extra space to display small curios and bric-a-brac. Best of all? It doesn't take any time to build and you can use an old pallet board to make it!
We all love pallet projects, so why not add this one to your home? Grab a board, cut it to the length shelf you'd like...
Sand the board smooth to remove any rough edges or splinters.
Paint the board your desired color.
Add little hooks to each of the four corners. Make sure the hook openings (if any) are facing outward. You can use loop-style hooks with no opening if you'd like.
Thread a long piece of twine through all four hooks and tie at the top.
Hang on the wall using a command hook. I also love those Hercules hooks that only make a tiny hole.
Add curios and bric-a-brac!

Note that this shelf is a hanging shelf, so the items you place on it will need to be balanced and weight distributed evenly across the shelf.
