5 gallon buckets. Labeled. The buckets can be stacked about 3hi.
Just finished cleaning my garage and I used super size tote boxes to put the potting soil, fertilizer, lime, etc. Also big trash cans work well.
I picked up a rolling tool cart at a garage sale for $10 and have a bunch of my potting supplies on that. Easy to move around and can roll out on to the patio if needed.
Hello Louise, I use clear bins with lids from Menard's. Take a walk thru your local Dollar store. Some things can be used for other than what it is intended for. I use their plastic gallon jugs with lids to store laundry soap and cat food. Five gallon buckets are great too. Sometimes you can get them from restaurants who have more than what they need.
Hi Louise, Probably the way to keep them all in one place would be to get a large plastic bin with a lid. Or, if you have the space outside, you could get a resin storage box/seat and store it outside where you'll more than likely be using it! You'll have extra seating, and a place for all your gardening things! This one is around $29 at Walmart!
Hope this helps.
Thanks. This one looks nice but wouldn't hold them all. I'd rather keep them in the garage.
Get a large rubbermaid bin and store them in the garage with maybe a chalkboard label so you can update the contents as you use it .
You can also buy a sturdy wire shelving unit (we got ours a long time ago at Costco) and store them on the shelves, starting from the bottom up and put stuff you use more often on the top shelves.
This is probably the best idea for my needs. Thanks.
