I prefer to start my projects by gathering all of my supplies.
STEP 1:
Begin by staining all of your boards the color of your choice
STEP 2: Place two boards 1x6 at 4' long next to each other and lay your 1x2 on top of your boards
STEP 3: Measure and mark so the 1x2 is the full length of the 1x6 boards
STEP 4: Cut the 1x2 to length using a circular saw or a hand saw
STEP 5: Using your battery or electric power drill and wood screws, screw your 1x2 to your 1x6 boards
STEP 6: Repeat on the other end - I placed my 1x2 boards 6" from each bottom
STEP 7: Create a design using your Silhouette Cameo and weed it. If you do not have a Silhouette Cameo, you can purchase reusable stencils at your local craft store
STEP 8: Align your stencil on your boards
STEP 9: Paint your stencil
STEP 10: You're done!! Time to decorate your front porch! Check out this post for baskets and flowers! http://gatheredinthekitchen.com/2017/08/16/fall-front-porch-decor/
