When we moved into this house the guest bedroom was DEEP purple. We wanted a change and so we changed the walls to a calm violet
We repainted the room to a calm, quiet violet. I stuck with the black furniture and curtains for budget reasons.
Started adding white and neutrals. Plates from the thrift store.
An Ikea table with a beautiful woven tray, brass lotus and Buddha. A vase I bought for $1.00 and a natural wood box from Hobby lobby.
I topped the dresser with white birds in another wood box.
This was one of those white country sideboards. Stained it to match the dresser.
We painted the ceiling fan blades black and added antique globes.
I painted this canvas.
I found this chair at the thrift store. The pillow came from Big lot.
The angel was a gift from my daughter. The framed print was $2.00 at the thrift store.
The table and painting .
That's the whole room, designed using things from thrift stores and things we already had. Now it is a calming guest bedroom. Hope you like it.

Well, every time we show guests in, they respond positively. So we are proud of it.
