Hi Friends, how are you? I hope great!!! St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner and here is an easy and fun way to make some great Place Settings for your table. The other day I received a surprise package from one of my favorite brands Scotch Brand Expressions Tape and was so excited!! (sorry the picture was taken from my I-Phone). Inside were a bunch of great tapes and the one that grabbed my attention first was this cutest green and white chevron shipping tape. I mean who would put this pretty tape on some shipping boxes they are going to throw away, right? But then I got to thinking. . . . . . “wait a minute, you can write on this stuff too.” BRILLIANT!! And suddenly I had a vision. Do you ever do that. Where it all comes together in your head. And these cute St. Patrick’s Day place settings were born. Remember how I found a bag of these cute little frames at a thrift store last year for $1.95 and have used them a bunch for place settings and my JOY Wreath. Love them. So I set my St. Patrick’s Day table and here’s how I made the Place Settings. I had some card stock in my office and cut the pieces to go in my frames. I put a piece of this fabulous tape down the center of each card. With a black marker I then wrote out the names of my family on them. Your pen just glides across this tape too. I gave it a minute or so to dry and then popped them back in my frames. How cute are they??? I LOVE them!! And Yes I am Irish and I’m very proud of that 1/4 of Irish blood. I hope you love them too and maybe it will inspire you to set a pretty table or be on the lookout for these fun frames when you are thrifting. I’ll share the complete St. Patrick’s Day Tablescape soon. If you want to learn a little more about why I love Scotch Brand so much you can come along on the trip I won to New York City on my blog over the Holidays. I Love gift wrapping and shared some great gift wrapping ideas on the blog with Scotch Expression Tape too. Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by, Lisa
