Do you have a mess of shoes at the entrance of your home? Need a quick and easy storage solution? Here's how I created an adorable little shoe storage area out of trash cans I picked up at Dollar Tree.
The first thing I did was I picked up 9 of these cute trash cans at the Dollar Tree.
Then I stacked them on their sides in 3 rows of 3. In order to keep them from rolling off of one another, I attached them to each other with Velcro and clips.
This is what it looks like all put together. You can choose to use more or less trash cans. This number works for me!
No more shoe mess! Now I have a super helpful shoe organizer to stash all of our shoes in. Give it a try yourself!

Very cheap cost to fix a big problem... I love that it's not expensive but looks like it cost more... great idea!!

Great organization idea, especially for damp or dirty shoes awaiting your next trip out the door! You've sparked a holiday idea for me... how about 3 on the bottom, then two, then one on top, each with a small hole awled on top to tie a Christmas ornament? Voila, a small tree, made larger by adding additional rows below (5 7 9) or made table top sized by using washed tin cans? Merry Christmas!
Can they be mounted on the wall somehow. My entrance way is very narrow.
One long piece of Velcro around all of them on back of containers?
