Anyone that knows me, knows I am a goth girl. My xmas tree is black & my theme is black & blue xmas. My wedding was also black & blue. So I have kept that theme through out my xmas decor every year since we got married. I originally found a black tree with white lights & as the lights died, I added blue lights. But I am digressing from our project- this wreath! So this may not be your xmas style, but I wanted to share it all the same.
You'll start with a plain wire wreath frame, black mesh & blue ribbons.
You will also need blue battery lights & blue embellishments in whatever style & shapes you like. I went with different shades of blue, making it super glam & glittery.
Here are more photos of my ribbons & embellishments.
I wrapped alternating layers of black & blue ribbon & secured around one edge. There is no need to glue anything, since mesh ribbon is also wired.
I then used cut strips of some other ribbons & tied in between, giving lots more texture & fun.
Then I added the lights & embellishments. It's ready to hang on the door.
