It's New and Old... Rolling Pin Rose Garden
I really like taking the old and the new and making is totally different than what it's meant for... I love everything vintage so I took some of my vintage rolling pins and added a couple of new ones and turn them into an old Charming rolling pin rose garden
I got some from Goodwill 2$ and picked up a couple from Walmart 6$...
So I started by sanding just the handles of the Rolling Pin only just ...so I can add a little stain on the ends
A little stain goes a long way
Adding a little paint is totally up to you depending on the transfer you use
Now they're ready so here comes the fun part.... can you say transfers I picked up IOD iron orchid transfers called floral treasure 11"× 14"♥️ this will cover 2 rolling pins...@12.99$
After the transfer is put on I took a very fine sandpaper 220 going over the handles of the rolling pin and just a little over the transfer and sealing it with wax
Really loving my rolling pin rose garden
Just remember at this point they are no longer food safe
Makes a great gift for any occasion
