Kitchen Table Refurbish
by

(IC: homeowner)
My husband and I are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and now that a couple of our boys have moved out on their own we decided to go with a smaller table. I didn't want to pay full price for a new table so I found a used one for $60 and made it my own.
This is what the table look like when we picked it up.
Another picture of the original.
First I stripped all the polyurethane off, it was gorgeous like this the grain is insane.
I painted the base Using Valspar Signature paint High Noon blue.
Then I stained the top with MinWax stain, Kona.
I also rubbed some stain the detailed carving around the edge and in the creases of the base.
Polyurethane the top and I'm done. We are very happy with the finished product, now on to making chairs for it!
