We had this playhouse just sitting there we thought about taking it down but it was so well built it even held up to a direct hit from hurricane Irma, so I thought if we just raise the roof it could become a potting shanty which I really need. It worked out great and I love being in there planting !
This is after we raised the roof we used square posts and attached the roof with long construction screws.
Here it is I am 4ft 11 in and I still have room we left the front open and its been working out well
A decorative screen door that I crafted sometime ago came handy for the shanty
We used wood in this decorative way for the sides then I stained it with some waterproof stain I also made a stone walkway for fun
The inside holds all of my potting items well ,we left the side sreened windows for ventilation
Hooks and screws work for holding hand tools, pots, twines and all garden items have their place
This wide shelf is perfect for planting
Everything fit so well like it should have been a potting shanty to start, if you have a playhouse that is no longer being used I would give this a try . It was great not having to trash something that came in such handy in its second life!
