First Time Home Flip

My husband and I have had a passion for renovating homes for a long time now. We are currently living in our second home, and remodeling it as we go! While we would love to keep on selling and buying homes for us, we decided it was time to give it a shot at flipping a home. We teamed together with a pair of friends and found a beautiful {well the potential was beautiful!} home in central Phoenix and got to work! It was a complete remodel, and we love it.
We tried to keep as many of the homes interesting details in tact as possible. The curved brick wall, the ceiling beams, and the fireplace are some of the most stunning details and we are so glad we were able to revive them back to life.
We had so much fun mixing together a little bit of classic/traditional with mid century modern. We didn't want the home to feel too much of one thing, so we went with the traditional wood floors, but kept the styling to mid century.
The kitchen is one of my most favorite spots in the house. In my home that is where I spend the majority of my time, so I really wanted this to be a place of beauty but also functionality in the flip. The combo of open shelving for a great look, while still having plenty of cabinets is key!
And then theres the master bath! Who doesn't love marble counters with a massive walk in shower?! If you want to see how the rest of the house turned out, go check out our blog Dream Book Design. We will be sharing more and more details of how the project took place and before photos soon!

This kitchen is all I could ever ask for! I love the subway tile, the colored cabinetry and having it so open to the dining room and the living without it being completely wide open (I love the fireplace location, making it feel more like 2 rooms versus one really big room).
