A tour of my stunning Iris in the garden. Also I give an update on the Iris I dug up, separated and replanted last summer.
The Sultan a gorgeous colors in contrast. This one really glows in the sunlight.
White with another color always catches my eye. The blue really shines next to the white.
Starship Enterprise, a favorite! This one is going crazy and I separating it out once this past summer already. Time to dig it up and do it again.
Some even come with freckles, this one will always be dear to me. Love, love, love the sprinkles on the falls.
I think this one is called Blackberry Truffle.
last but not least, a collage of some of the ones I replanted last summer from rhizomes I separated out. Blooming the first year.

Suzanne Linker Speights on Jun 22, 2015When moving your iris, do you cut the foilage a certain way? I have often seen it cut in what i would call a V pattern. Any thoughts or suggestions? And i too think that iris can be moved in the mid summer, they've got to have some time to settle into their new location. Thanks
