A Wicker Planter Hosts a Small Garden at the Fish Pond,
I love building miniature gardens in all kinds of supports. Fresh, poetic, flowery, unique and enchanted. This fairy garden with miniature pond will make a decorative terrarium to add a touch of nature to the interior, whether it is arranged on the desk, coffee table or shelf.
My vintage wicker planter has been hand-lined with a blue fish pond and water lilies surrounded by real rocks that have integrated plants, flowers and mushrooms as colorful touches. Beside, we discover a lawn garden dotted with flowers and a tree on which birds have taken up residence.
This fairy garden is not a kit, it is securely assembled taking great care of the details to give the whole a neat and magical appearance.
And I'm a fan of upcycling and diversion, so this vintage wicker basket gave me that idea.
I filled it with a thick cardboard base and I cut and glued a piece of mouse pad depicting this river with pretty colorful fish
surrounded my pond with a wall of pebbles picked up in a field, glued to the gun
To embellish it and insert colorful elements of nature, I added resin water lilies, plastic flowers and pearls, a mushroom and plants, and then I varnished
To make a garden worthy of the name, next to the stones I glued a piece of grass that I sprinkled with flowers in resin and a tree on which I fixed birds, one in feathers and the other crazy plastic
And here is my decorative planter finished:
