i was cleaning out the horse barn and remembered this old dresser I had put out there. At first I just left but I kept thinking about what I could do to restore it. It was to far gone to be restored so I decided to repurpose it. It now had a new life and purpose. I am very pleased with it.
ot was very dusty and dirty so I gave it a good scrubbing.
Then I remote hardware and sawed the top off. I removed the drawer guts ( except for the bottom one. Sorry I don’t have pics of the process.
the I painted the whole dresser and bottom drawer boot leather brown. I took the top I cut off and used it for the seat portion of the bench.
I stenciled and touched the painted. Painted the hardware black. Made pillows for it . I am very pleased with the end result. The best part is my husband loves it! Yay! Go diyers scored one for the team.😂
The end resu is so satisfying!
