I mean honestly how adorable did this Pencil Flower Vase turn out.
And it was so simple to create as well.
This is great as a Back to School Teachers Gift.
I picked up a mason jar as it was going to be the base around which I would glue the pencils.
And I bought about 5 packs of the colored pencils.
You could use hot glue to keep the pencils in place or like I did use simple ol’ school glue.
So apply a layer of glue using a foam paintbrush and then start placing the pencils around the face of the jar.
What I like to do at the end when all the pencils are in place is to use a ribbon or string and tie it tightly around so when the pencils are drying they keep the place and don’t slide away or fall.
You can definitely keep the ribbon, I preferred it without it. But it should hold up pretty well when the glue has dried.
Pop some flowers into your vase and there you have it.
How beautiful is this Gift Idea for a teacher.
Or even has a home decor item it will look absolutely adorable on your mantle, in a bookshelf.
