Easy DIY Boxwood Fall Wreath

We were looking for a simple fall decor project and wanted to put to use some of the things we already had in our yard and shop. Thus, this idea for a boxwood fall wreath was born! Best news of all is that it cost nothing to make!

First, we ventured to the front yard to get some boxwood clippings. If you don't have boxwoods, maybe ask a neighbor if you can get some clippings! Hey, it's free pruning for them, right?
Trim your branches into small and larger pieces, then spray paint with gold, silver, or maybe even copper. Which is your favorite?
Draw the circle for your wreath form onto a piece of plywood (or cardboard). For other ideas of what to use for a wreath form, see our blog post. Cut out with a jigsaw.
Gather the boxwood clippings into small bundles and wrap the branches with wire. Use wire to attach around wood form.
Let's get that wreath hung! We love how simple it was to make and how beautiful it turned out!
