Chanda and I have been excited to get into the full swing of fall, from baking pumpkin pies to pinning Fall decor ideas- I am almost ready to bust out the scarfs! We thought it would be fun to show you a few festive ideas for your thanksgiving table. Table decor is a very important part of an event, this is the majority of time where your guests will spend their time sipping away and enjoying their meal. Let’s get past the predictable orange pumpkins and gourds and move onto some class today- I call this one a more intimate Thanksgiving table.

My color scheme inspiration you ask?? Bronze, Gold, Cream, Mustard Yellow, Burlap- doesn't that just scream warm cozy fall??

Supplies:

  • Bronze Chargers
  • Cream Plates
  • Smaller cream, gold lined saucers
  • Basket woven placemats
  • Potpourri pine cone flowers & burlap leaf (you can find these flowers on the trees!)
  • Burlap
  • Long mirror
  • Candles
  • Medicine bottles
  • Billy Ball Yellow Flowers
  • Mini Pinecones
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Small Glittered Balls

start by laying your large mirror at the center of the table to use as a "table runner" (this will also conveniently catch all the candle wax that will inevitably drip)

After you lay down your mirror lay down your strip of brulap fabric, I made it so mine went past the mirror to the end of the table to bring your eye even further to the edge of the table (more drama!)

Now it's time to just fill in and play with your candles and bottles and pinecones. Simply play with height and make sure you can still see the person past you on the other side of the table :)

And now for the table settings- I love stacking plates- it adds more color, dimension anddddd tells your guests how many courses they will be enjoying.

It's always a nice touch to have a "favor" on each plate. It can be something they eat, take home or even just their name place card. I found these rosette pinecones on a walk and cut out some burlap to make "leaves" and there we go!

Thanks for starting Thanksgiving brainstormin’ early with us icon
