Sometimes as I drive around and look at homes I think...why don't they just do "this or that." I really think if you stand back and just look at the front of a home it's quite simple to see what's it's missing. Here are a couple of flower boxes I did.
Adding the patio in front of the window made this little area very cozy!
If you add moldings to the top and bottom of a flower box it really makes it pop and look more custom.
Now this will be a pretty place to sit and have coffee, tea or maybe a green drink!

I love window boxes and the flowers that trail out of them. While I am happy that you have a comfy space, I do need more info about it.
1. What type of plants did you use ? One might be an ivy...?
2. How wide did you make your window box ?
3.Did you create one or use a standard box and add trim ?
