4 Foot Easter Egg Topiary
I saw these beautiful egg picks at the Dollar Tree and I just had to be able to make something with them. I took them home, and came up with this idea. Check it out-
First, you'll place the 2x2 wood board in the center of the plant pot and spray some spray foam to keep the pole in place.
The foam will fill to the top.
Before the foam fully dries, add the paper grass and push it in.
Trim the top to make it nice and neat and then let it dry.
You may need to brace it till it drys because you want it to be straight and leveled.
After it drys drill a pilot hole and screw in a finial to the top final to give a nice finish.
Once the finial is screwed in place, it's time to paint!
I applied a white chalk paint all over the finial and pole.
Next I removed all the stakes by just applying pressure they snapped right off!
Then I used some burlap ribbon and covered the bottom of the egg, it kind of looks like a wrapper.
Then position them how you'd like them, and nail them in to the pole.
Next I took some wooden skewers and attached them to these adorable foam eggs. I then stuck them in the grass through the foam.
Here it is all done! It looks so cute!
I made a few in different colors, and just love em!
