Let's do this!
Step 1:
The first thing you'll want to do is create a small piece of cork board that will cover the top of the lamp's base and circle the bulb's socket. For our Parr Table Lamp this process is relatively straight-forward since the lamp is a cylinder. Kyle places the Parr on top of the cork board, traces a circle around the base, cuts the circle out, and then cuts an additional hole in the center to allow the cork to fit around the socket. This piece will go on the top of the base in a later step.
Step 2:
Kyle now wraps the cork board around the lamp to determine where he'll need to cut. He makes a mark on the cork board and cuts out the appropriate amount. This portion of the cork board will cover the entire cylinder of the base.
Step 3:
Peel back the paper to reveal the adhesive on the back of the cork board. Carefully press the cork to the lamp. Make sure to line up your edge so that it's as straight as possible along the seam. You can also peel the back off of the small circle that was cut out in Step 1. Peel the paper back and place this circle on the top of the base.
Step 4:
Personalize! Pin your favorite photos, recipes, to-do lists, and more directly on the lamp!
