For those special children in your life, here is an easy project you can make for them or involve them in the making. It is fun, easy, and they turn out so cute!

You will need round lollipops of various flavors and colors.

Wooden beads, foam puff balls (optional), fuzzy wire, glue gun, small googly eyes, and stick and peel foam stickers for feet. I had sticky foam stars so I cut the points to round them for bunny feet. They worked well.

You can use only the bead with the candy, but I chose a sponge ball I had on hand to add a belly too. Put them on the lollipop stick so the bead will be the head whether you use just the bead or bead and puff ball.

Fold the fuzzy wire into a bow shape and wrap the ends at the center to make a loop on each end. The loops will be the ears. Hot glue the ears to the bead. Stick on the eyes and small puff balls for the face and tail. You want to shape the loops to be long and a little pointed like bunny ears.

I used peel and stick googly eyes, but you can use hot glue. The ears were easy to attach putting a bead of hot glue on the top of the wooden bead and lollipop stick joint. Then I shaped the ears and added the puffy little cheeks. You can use all white ears, but I put the bunny colors to match the puff ball belly and sucker. Last, I attached the peel and stick bunny feet. These would be cute in a basket also. Be aware of age appropriateness when adding one to a basket. I do not recommend these for small children .

A few more bunny hop lollipops. If you do not have any materials on hand, figure about $1 for 2 bunnies. You will have supplies left over for other projects. Notice the candy is still wrapped so it is still protected and can be eaten.
