My good friend Kristy, asked if I would make some shark decor for her 6 year old son's bedroom, as it was time for a redo. Heck YES I WILL! It was so much fun to make all these pieces. I just went to Google images and found some different ideas. I used a projector for all the images and cut them out on 1/2 plywood. Adding the detail with paint was the most fun. :)
Can't have a shark room without a 4' shark, can you?!?
Here's the good ole' shark fin.
And the scary shark head.
Absolutely love this sign. My husband told me to change "swim" to "sleep" and I think it's just perfect.
Here is a photo of the art up in Ryan's room: this guy looks like he is coming in for a bite, as you lay in bed.
The sign is just perfect over the bed. Goes perfectly with the Pottery Barn shark bedding she has, which, of course, I neglected to take a photo of.
I love the placement of the shark fin over the dresser.
Lighting was terrible, so I had to funky up this photo so you can see this bad boy as you enter and leave the room.
Enjoyed the project?
