How can I repurpose marble tabletops?
How can I repurpose these marble tables tops? They were end tables that I got from my grandmother when my great grandmother passed away. After a couple of moves the end tables fell apart but I kept the table tops.

add handles and make them trays
No matter what you do, clean them and re-seal them (2 coats) with a non yellowing marble sealer. It is very porous and highly subject to etching from juices and wine.
they could be put on top of a modified cart for a mini island.
I would reuse them somewhere outdoors. You could even plant a memory garden nearby to remember Grandma in a peaceful area.
Have the corners rounded - and make a lazy susan for your dining room table!
You can sell. Antique dealers are always looking for marble tops. Or use them for table tops for yourself.
You could find old end tables that you love - and paint them or improve the finish - and add these tops to them. :)
IMO trying to make these slabs into trays is not very practical: It would be difficult to anchor hardware that is sturdy enough to support the weight of the slab, plus whatever is on top of it. Also, without ledges or sides, items might slide off too easily.
What are the dimensions of the pieces?
List them for sale on free sites such as Nextdoor.com or Craigslist. Perhaps someone might be looking for marble pieces for a vanity in a small powder room. They would lend themselves well for especially vessel style basins.(example below)

I had some similar pieces that I had kept for many years without using them. I had them cut to the depth of a credenza in my dining room and a chest of drawers in my bedroom. I glued on some handles to create the look of a tray. I put a treasured tea set on the one in the dining room and a perfume bottle collection on the one in my bedroom. After having them packed away for so many years these beautiful marble pieces are now where I can see and enjoy them. They make the perfect display for a treasured collection or anything you want to make as a grouping. The pieces had been in my family for over 50 years and now they make me smile every time I look at them. It cost a few hundred dollars to have them cut and polished to the size I needed, but the joy they bring me was worth it. Please don't discard them. You could also have a carpenter build a stand using the two pieces as top and bottom shelves.
It all depends on their sizes ..but it could be nice side table top
