Hi Bernice,
I think you have many options depending on the ceiling height and what else is in proximity to the room. A higher ceiling could handle a chandelier, especially if there is a staircase there. For a lower ceiling a flush or semi flush light fixture would work. Here are several ideas I found on =lights%20in%20a%20foyer%7Ctyped]Pinterest you can review.
Hi Bernice. My name is Cindy. I love pendent lights and really love chandeliers. What room are you wanting to light up? It's hard to answer your question without knowing what room you want to light up. I would have a chandelier in every room in my house if I could. I live with guys , even the dog is a boy. They don't like chandeliers as much as I do.
What is the style of your home? Or what is the style you are looking to achieve? There are many on line sites if you prefer to shop that way. Point blank, I don't. I need to see and feel items. I like to check for quality, which can't be determined by even the best computer screen. Yes, I may visit a few different shops over a period of time, but when I make my choice, I know it is the right one.
