14’ to driveway
Do you have any ideas for an attractive short walkway?
We just recently bought a hot tub. There is much to be done in terms of adding bars (for beverages😂, not stability) on either side, putting a canopy up etc. Our priority right now is adding a walkway. It is approximately 14 feet 2 our driveway. My husband wanted to do stamped concrete as that is what we have for our front porch. It’s beautiful but what I’ve learned with that however, is it gets very slippery with rain and frost. Not ideal stepping out of a hot tub! We know we obviously can do a paver idea but we’re hoping for some really creative thoughts. Keeping it inexpensive with any hope. Any thoughts and pictures will be greatly appreciated!

you could use large stones or pavers and pea gravel around them
How about a path of large flagstones? We've done this look with big chunks of broken concrete (which we had from breaking up an old path). It was free! You can also use legit flagstones of course!

How about rubber pavers or brick
Hello Kari,
You can buy non slip slabs suitable for poolside, so maybe this would be your best bet..........
Instead of plain stamped concrete you could do exposed aggregate concrete which would alleviate the slippery concern.
Your husband can have his polished concrete and you can have non-slip.
Apply an anti-slip conditioner. ...
Apply a sealer coat to polished concrete that contains an anti-slip grit additive.
Best of both worlds.
You can make a ground level boardwalk and plant flowers or plants along both sides. Because the length is relatively short the cost should be very affordable. Just remember to use pressure treated lumber, or another type of wood that’s rated for use outside.

If you decide on a design similar to Holly's path, I would recommend using exposed aggregate stepping stones, as they are more slip resistant than smooth.
Textured patio pavers that look like aggregate would really look nice and they would be safer than the cement.
We have a short path to our pool that is just charming. It's tiny pebbles and then stones for walking in between. Works great for wet feet - no rot. Here's a photo in the post - https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2017/07/how-to-create-cottage-style-garden.html
