Tension Rod Shoe Storage
I like using a boot rack where you turn boots upside down. I have mine to the side in the closet and make sure they don’t touch clothing. I moved my husband’s boots to a try near his chair because they get so muddy.

Hello Paula,
for One pair of boots, you will need 2 x pieces of dowel strong enough to hold your boots without bending (otherwise use a broom handle cut to size). One piece of chunky timber 12" long (strong enough to hold the dowel or broom handle. Drill hold in sturdy timber 3" in from both ends Halfway through the timber. Insert Dowel and secure underneath with a Screw. Pop boots on Dowel and there you have it. May or may not need to be secured to the floor depending on how heavy your boots are and how strong the timber was you used..........
Hi Paula. You could use the 3 rod system but if you have tall boots you would need more space above the top rod. Another thought is to use tension rods to support shoes. Good luck Paula.
This is a really cool idea.
You can hang them from shower rings on the rod
