Hello all. This is my first time posting. So bare with me please. It's an easy project. My daughter bought this lamp for me back in the december, and the lamp shade a couple of days ago. It has taken me a few months to figure out what I wanted to do with it. I wanted the lamp to have a not in your face night light. So shopping through my home this is what I decided.

Sea shell and sea glass

I shopped through my craft room. Grabbed these and washed them up. Dawn and some papers towels to dry.

I had my fiance drill a holes wide enough for the string lights to be woven through. There was not a safe opening any where in this lamp. So hole in the bottom it is.

Wrapping the string lights around the tubing inside of the lamp. It's pretty easy.

This little bottle had some of the smaller sea shells in it. So I emptied it out, and added some smaller peices of sea glass and a few small shells and placed it inside the lamp. In between adding the items to the lamp I pushed more of the string lights through out and in between the items inside the lamp.

And her is the lamp. It's pretty and different. I feel it gives it a little whimsical look.

There is the little bottle. I think it looks cute.

As you can see the string light have rose gold glass balls wrapped around it.

Every thing was purchased at home depot. My daughter works there. She is a project specialist. So when she sees some thing cool or interesting she buys it and brings it to me. She says here mom. I'm sure you can do some thing pretty awesome with it. So the lamp, string lights, shade, were from there. The sea glass and the bigger sea shells were from walmart. Bought that over the summer. Just under 10 dollars. The little glass with seashells were from the dollar tree. The drill used to drill the hole and the drill bit is my fiances and it is dewalt. Those were purchased years ago at either home depot or lowes. I didn't think to ask him. Any way, this was pretty easy to do. Was something differnt for me. I hope this helps any one who wants to try some thing differnt. I had fun putting it together. Also I was watching project blue book while putting this together. Lol

This is a close up shot of the strings lights. I love them I think they are so pretty.

Once again I dont know the price of the lamp and the string lights as my daughter bought it. So my suggestion is shop around for the best prices.

I love this project! Well done! And, when not using the lighted lamp, the little lights can act as a night light!
