How can I make DIY cutlery drawer dividers?
Does anyone have any ideas on cutlery drawer dividers? I have so many of the kind you buy, plastic ones, metal ones, etc, but none of them every fit my long knives or longer items so i thought i'll make my own, but I don't want to spend too much on it. Maybe cardboard? Would they hold up you think?

I think if you use a heavy duty cardboard it should work. I'd definitely cover them. Here are some pics that might help you figure out how to proceed https://www.pinterest.com/pin/394135404873100120/
Hello Margherita!
I think making some wood dividers would be the best! They would hold up forever unlike cardboard. You could buy a thinner sheet of plywood or luan. A quarter size sheet NOT a whole sheet would be fairly inexpensive and easier to work with.

Hi margerhet. How about putting a magnetic strip on your wall for your long knives?
try container store for more options. You might have to spend a bit more money to get a fancy one.
I don't think cardboard would hold up. Wood is a better option. Check with your local home improvement store for your options and then you can cut it t the size you need.
We did some out of luan plywood in our old kitchen. Then I hot glued them in place. Also did that with the kids drawers. Held up great. But if I were doing it now, I would probably affix with Power Grab.
Sheets of cork bound at the top and bottom, you can slide the knives between them.
Thank you so much everyone for your great suggestions. And i will definitely try them, but I have two questions, one is for Kathy re: metal strip? How would that work and not sure what you mean, like drill a hole in a strip of magnet into my wall? And the second question is for Chloe Crabtree, I'm not sure i understand what you mean by sheets of cork. Do you mean the round corks from a wine bottle? Unfortunately i don't drink, so where would i buy them and not sure how i would set them up in my drawer?
Lots of ideas:
