Antique Cabinet Makeover
we Salvaged this from an old shed, where This lady was selling so many cool pieces, but with a little love and the power of paint, this little gem has been brought back to life!
Old, dirty and a few scratches, but not for long!
The veneer was cracked and peeling, but I think it gives so much character.
What a little beauty! Look at the details on this piece!
It has a good amount of storage too! Sanded lightly, cleaned and ready for some color!!
Voila! All painted in a gorgeous blue. I kept the lovely original hardware, it just fitted, then I took the sander, roughed it up a bit to give a somewhat coastal look, then finished it up with some nice smelling wax!
I love this gorgeous little piece!
I refinished an old brown framed mirror in white, shabby’d it up and also painted these amazing candle sticks!
Ready for it’s new home!

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
What color did you use?
We are in the process of putting two colours on a new made soft pine table top and it will look like old barn wood when done, (WE HOPE)! We were told that lacquer is better
for table tops than polyurethane! What’s your view on that! It will be used a lot!! Oh I love your make over!!
