We have termites starting to build at our home, how can i removed it?
Hi Abet I hope this helps: https://thebugskiller.com/how-to-kill-termites-and-get-rid-of-them-forever/
I have friends who live in Florida and all they can do is call in professionals to have their foundation sprayed yearly.
Remove any mulch against your home's foundation and place it no closer than 18" from the foundation, if you choose to use it. You'll need to kill all termites before you can proceed. There are termite killing sprays and stakes available for homeowners' use.
Redirect any downspouts at least 10' or more away from your foundation.
Check your gutters for leaks, and repair/replace, or install a gutter helmet system.
Check the slope of your ground around your property and regrade as warranted to redirect water.
Avoid plantings against your foundation.
If your soil is attracting them, you may need soil amendments.
Check your sill plate inside your basement for termite damage and treat as needed.
You may need to run a dehumidifier frequently in your area, as well.
Look for sweating pipes inside your home and take corrective action.
Some people purchase a lifetime treatment policy, with regular, professional inspections/treatments, but you should not be home when these chemicals are applied.
We went with a termite removal company and they put bait pods in after they got rid of the termites, because usually they will come back. I would def. look into investing in something like this, just because you don't want the situation to get out of hand.
Hi Abet, here's some info I located and hope it will be helpful to you.
One popular method on how to get rid of termites involves treating the soil around your house with a termite insecticide, such as imidacloprid or fipronil. Wood can also be treated directly if termites are inside. Termite baits are strategically placed around your yard to lure termites in.

You need to call an exterminator asap.
Hi Abert, so sorry you have termites. I hope this will help you. How to Get Rid of Termites (with Pictures) - wikiHowwww.wikihow.com › ... › Ant and Termite Control

- Only termites can single-handedly ruin and destroy a house's very foundation and character in just a few short years.
I would not mess around with natural methods. I would get pest control in.
We’ve had termite activity and three of our past homes. W
e always consulted with professionals getting quotes and treatment detailed and compared their remediation treatment and cost to feel confident about the elimination of the damaging insect and protection plus treatment warranty of our home.
Your home is a very valuable investment and you want to make sure the job is done right.
Hi! I would invest in professional exterminators who guarantee their work before you have expensive damage to repair. Good luck and stay safe!
You can try to DIY by spraying termite spray and putting in traps. However, if you are already seeing them I would hire a professional exterminator. You don't want to mess up and miss getting them all.
Make sure to have no wood in contact with the ground as well.
Second the idea of getting a pro to help. It is much cheaper than rebuilding your house. Also remove any scrap wood that might attract them initially. Sometime builders wouldn't clean up scraps of wood in crawl space or around the house.
I think this is a job for professionals. Get a couple of quotes and we used a company that has a termite bond that will cover us if they treat termites and they destroy parts of the house. Termites cannot be treated well using DIY methods.
You need a professional for that because they could do a lot of damage
