Hi there ... this COVID time is allowing me to be pretty creative (which I am not!!!) so I have done a vertical succulent garden. Excited about how it turned out. Question is how do I keep it compact and not get to leggy as it grows? It is really flourishing. Not sure how I prune succulents. Do I do that from the top? Open to any ideas you might have. Thanks all!

If you've place holes at the top, you could add water and food there. If not, you'll need to mix water soluable food with water and mist, or mist water. Provide a covering for nearby objects to void damage. These won't require frequent feedings or waterings, given sufficient sun and humidity.
You might be able to get away with frequent misting.
How pretty! I would love one like that! Hope this helps!

You can water it by hand by starting at the top and allowing gravity to water the plants below. Morning is the best time to water.
I have one and I have found that I need to keep thinning out the succulents because they multiple so fast and push them out of the frame. To water them I use a spray bottle with a mister nozzle and just spray them.
partial sun and water when the soil feels dry
Hi Jane, check out this project on Hometalk:

They designed this vertical succulent planter with water bottles underneath to collect rain water or for water to be put in at the top, What a great idea. Maintaining your succulents would be easier using this design. Good luck!
Pallet Wood Vertical Planting With Succulents
You need to have it somewhere with sunlight. Then spritz with water bi-weekly. Succulents require very little water. I have one in my kitchen window that I put a couple drops of water a month, nothing else, and it's 2 years old.
Succulents don't need much water, a light misting should take care of their water needs.

Simply "mist" with water once in a while depending on the temperatures.....

Mist with a spray bottle!
Hello Jane,
Yes, MIST! otherwise take it down water and then let it drain before placing it back up again - once a week.

They will get unruly with time. They will grow upwards if all they get is overhead lighting - so try giving them even light source.
