How do i get this stain out?
I have this stain on my couch, it was a barbecue stain and my husband uses a tide to go stick on it and it left this stain. I’m wondering how i can get it out without making it worse. My cushions don’t come off either. IKEA discontinued this couch so i could barely find what fabric it is. If anyone could help I’d be forever grateful, it’s less than a year old :(

This is what happens when it is spot clean ..Right now I would actually rent a steam machine and clean whole couch or call professional to do it
Agnes is correct. Need to clean the entire area. Most spot cleaning leaves it worse.
Can clean with a wet/dry shop vac: use super mild detergent water (not BLUE Dawn) on the spot.
1 person rinses, the other person shop vacs. Like a dentist & assistant does. 😎
Do the whole cushion
You would need to clean the entire cushion rather than spot treating
Seconding Lindsay's answer, clean the whole cushion. If you're willing to buy one, get a little spot cleaner vac.
Clean the entire cushion....dampen and suck up the liquid with a handheld Bissell. That will do the trick.
Hello Maddelyn,
You could Steam Clean it, Try a West Wipe, or even 1001
with a little water. Best of luck!
The fabric does not look bleached out, which is good. You would have to clean the entire cushion with a wet dry shop vac, you'd want to wet the entire fabric area with a mild detergent and immediately suck the wetness out of the cushion. Here's a bunch of them at Amazon...or you could shop locally:

I have a chair with a similar situation. I tried everything I could find and then I was at the point of giving up. I purchased some carpet cleaner for my parents and tried it. It's designed to spray and vacuum. I sprayed it and it lifted the stain. This is what I used:

Turtle Wax makes a product for car seats and mats that is fabulous. It is a foam spray and it worked on my love seat without any rings.
Hi ! I know this might sound weird , but get a carpet cleaner called Folex !!!
I found it at home depot for about $6 . It is a spot cleaner that can also be used in a carpet cleaning machine as well as being an upholstery cleaner ! Hands down this is the best stuff out there !!! It gets everything out , rust , ink , wine ,
Blood , grease ...I keep some in a spray bottle in my laundry room .
Good luck !!!
You could try spraying with Windex then use a scrub with a brush immediately. I know that works on suede couches but not sure if it would on this. Also when I have a stubborn stain I will apply straight ammonia, cover with a towel, then get my iron and put it on the steam setting and iron the towel. It usually always steams out the stain. The towel absorbs it! It's magic! Used this trick when my son spilled red food coloring all over our beige carpet. Worked like a charm.
Whip-It works well to remove stains from couches. Here is a link: https://amzn.to/2DnumKx

I'd try a steam cleaner if you could rent or borrow one
I cleaned my couch with vinegar and water
I would try a steam cleaner.
Norwex cleaning paste has taken stains out of most of our fabrics. I don't sell it, but you should be able to find it online. Good luck!
If the covers on the cushion can be taken off wash them in washing machine and let them air dry so they don't shrink.
Many great suggestion I too can use. I've had similar problems with the Tide stick when used on clothing.
Thank all of you guys so much! I’ll post an update soon, I’m for sure getting a shop vac like most of you told me and a good mild detergent! If you have any more tips I’ll take them!
