Hello Jane,
Poles of any kind pushed into the ground in a circle with gaps in between and tied together at the top with what ever you have. Wrap around the poles anything from a Bed Sheet - Blankets etc. and secure at the top with a tie. To hold the fabric to the poles use what ever you have from, Bulldog Clips to String etc. Hope that is of some help to you!
