Garden Globes
Hello. For outdoor application that is exposed to the weather I would carefully read the instructions on the adhesive that you are considering. Make sure that it can with stand your local weather conditions.
I had a commercially purchased decorative outdoor garden item both marbles and tiles that were glued to the glass eventually fell off after some time.
Different adhesives that have worked are E6000 and silicone adhesive.
I'm not sure what they used but I've had great luck with E6000 or PowerGrab. PowerGrab has a long setting time but once it's dry, it's stuck through all kinds of elements.
E6000 adhesive
I have used E-6000 and find it the best. I did learn a trick and that is to place the E-6000 on each surface (the marble and the globe) wait a few minutes and then join the two together.
E-6000 (Janice is correct with the application)
Hi Sandy, hope this helps you out,

Hello Sandy,
I believe they used Hot Glue Gun, but I did it with White Bathroom Silicone. Messy but did the trick for me ( I covered an old Ballcock from my old Water Tank. Have fun.
I dont see why an epoxy glue or waterproof silicone adhesive would not work.

Garden Globes
There are lots of garden globe projects here:

I would use E6000 and let it set inside for a day or two before putting it outside. I'd also bring it in during colder weather (if you have that in Florida, ha!) or cover it.
