Rae Dunn Inspired Farmhouse Riser and Vases | Farmhouse Decor
In today's video, I have a Rae Dunn inspired farmhouse riser with 3 vases. This was a great project and I LOVE the way it turned out.
I came up with this idea after seeing a Pinterest post. I added my own touch to the design and I love it!
I used Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby items to complete this project and it is currently the centerpiece on my kitchen table. I will be changing out the florals in November to something more along the lines of Christmas. This is the perfect handmade gift idea for anyone who loves Rae Dunn decor and Farmhouse style!
I used a square wood sign from Dollar Tree, old Jenga blocks, large wood beads.
I glued the blocks to the corners of the square and then glued to beads to the blocks.
I painted the base using Rustoleum Chalk Paint. I painted the top, sides and the beads at the bottom.
It took 2 coats for an even coverage.
For the riser I used a wood coaster from Hobby Lobby and glued 2 Jenga blocks to the bottom.
I used the same paint to paint the glass bottles.
I painted the outside of the bottles but I would recommend mixing the paint with some white glue or Mod Podge and pouring it into the bottle. Tilting the bottle to cover the entire glass bottle.
I did this off camera and the finish was a lot smoother and looked a lot better.
Using the same chalk paint I painter the riser including the blocks on the bottom.
I glued the riser to the base once all the paint was dry.
I cleaned the outside of the glass bottles with rubbing alcohol and the applied the vinyl I had cute out using my Cricut.
