No-Sew Sweater Pumpkins
If you have any old sweaters, here is a perfect pumpkin DIY that sure to bring charm to your tables, mantels or anywhere around the house.
This is a easy project because no-sewing is involved.
Supplies needed:
Sweater: (4 small pumpkins use 2 long sleeves) (2 large pumpkins use 2 long sleeves)
Newspaper: ( 3-4 for small pumpkins) (6-7 for large pumpkins.)
Rubber bands:( Use 2 rubber bands for each end.)
Twine or hemp cord
Glue gun
Gather your old sweater and cut the sleeves. You will need the entire length of the sweater depending how big you want to stuff the sleeve.
After you have cut your sleeves get a 2 rubber bands and tie one end with it.
Turn the sleeves inside out and stuff with 3 or 4 newspaper until its nice and full. You can make them as big as you like or keep them small.
To close the opening, tie with rubber band. You should have a long piece of leftover hanging sleeve. Here you will take the twine wrap around and around until your form the stem.
Cut off the leftover sleeve after you form the stem. Take the glue gun and add glue onto the twine to keep it secure. The stem should be around 2 or 3 inches long. You should be able to bend it.

Beautiful project! Just a suggestion, over time newspaper will disintegrate, plastic bags, old hosiery, pillow stuffing etc. will hold up longer. Thanks for sharing your lovely idea
