Hi Anna, I use a mix of 50/50 vinegar and water and do my shower floor about once a week. It works great with a little plastic scrubby.
What type of floor do you have? If natural stone different cleaning process to keep the floors in top shape. My shower tub combo is fiberglass which scratches easily, so no abrasive cleansers like Ajax or Comet. However Bon Ami or Barkeepers Friend will work.
Hello it might depend on the problem that I am seeing. For mold and mildew problems I like the spray on commercial cleaners with bleach. For soap scum scum sometimes Magic Eraser solves a lot of situations on my white tile from hard water or soap. I use the ones from Dollar Tree.
Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 solution of Dawn dish soap and vinegar. Spray it on the shower floor and let it work. If they are tougher stains, you may have to scrub with a plastic scrubber!
mix vinegar with dawn dish soap 50/50 and leave it on the floor to soak. Scrub the floor and rinse.
Perhaps this will help:
On our fiberglass tub/shower combo, I use a 32 oz empty water bottle and put in 5-6 oz Blue Dawn dish soap, fill with vinegar and give it a mix with the cap on. Next poke or slice a few holes in the cap and spritz all over the area you want cleaned, let it set about 10 min. Clean with a new broom dedicated to this task, a household broom will not do because there are particles in there that might scratch. Rinse with clear water.
You can try to plug the drain and pour bleach on it and let it sit for a while.
mop with 1 cup white vinegar, 1 cup baking soda, 1 Tbsp blue Dawn, 2 gallons hot water.
I use cleanser and a sponge. If it is extra dirty, wet, sprinkle and let sit for a while before you scrub it.
Heat up 1 cup of white vinegar, mix in about 1/4 cup of Dawn Premium. Not the dollar store kind, because it is too thin. When mixed, pour into a spray bottle and fill with water. Shake. Spray down the grout and let it sit overnight. In the morning rinse. If you have stubborn stains, spray again. Use this mixture a few times a week. It will keep your grout and tiles clean. Also works wonders in the toilet bowl to keep hard water stains at bay. Oh you only have to heat the vinegar one time when you add the Dawn.
