How do i modernize a 1937 bathroom with pink tile??
I have a house which was built in 1937. The tile on the counter, around the tub and in the shower are pink. I would like to keep the tile but want to modernize it. I need to figure out a way to camouflage the wall above the faucet on the tub so access to the pipes remains. The floor is beige tile, 24" squares.

What about covering the floor with one of those bold black and white peel and stick tiles? To cover the beige. Then you could paint the walls white. Bold and fresh!
Modernize it with an updated theme: Hollywood glam with pink and black and gold. Parisian theme. Tropical with teal and flamingos.
Try peel and stick wallpaper
I would look into Rustoleum's tub and tile paint to take care of all of that pink. I hear it works REALLY well!
Maybe you could try something like this for the tile: https://amzn.to/2Mn3Ox8

I would go with it..... I once had one I enhanced with pink cherry fabric cafe curtains and shower curtain. I also like the Parisian black/pink combo, and the black cats, but here are some retro treatments.... https://retrorenovation.com/2015/07/30/pink-bathroom-kitsch-design/
My current bubble gum pink bathroom has a flocked fairy garden shower curtain, and all the other accents are bright white for a fresh look.
you can paint the tile for a new look and if the tub and sink are pink also you could paint them too
You can paint the tile with Rustoleum or Homax tub and tile paint kits.
