Have side of floor kitchen cabinet that needs sprucing up. Is peel and stick flooring an alternative?

Yes, you can install peel and stick floor tile on the side of the cabinet.
Iβd scrub the cabinet side with TSP solution and wipe clean and dry.
Iβd put my cuts against the wall.
To get them to stick, youβll need to burnish them.
You can use on floor on cabinet
You could, but it would look so much better with molding or paneling and both are fairly easy.
You can use peel and stick tiles on the cabinet and the floor, can't tell what you'd like to put them on.
The floor has lots nore wear and tear than a cabinet, so if you are putting peel and stick tiles on the floor, make sure it is immaculate, no nothing on it in any way, shape, or form. Then install good quality peel and stick tiles, also make sure your floor is completely level.
If you're talking about the floor of the cabinet, peel and stick tiles work great. Here's a link to mine:

I used it on mine and it has worked great
it could work but may look odd. What about a treatment with wood? Hereβs a few DIYs like that weβve done: https://www.frugalfamilytimes.com/category/crafts-and-diy/wall-treatment/
Yes, you can use the peel and stick flooring. You can also use peel and stick wallpaper, which might be a little easier to apply.
If you go with peel & stick, I would recommend adding an adhesive. Especially anywhere water is involved.
I tried this several years ago and was not happy with the results. Without adding some type of adhesive these do not stick well. Ended up just getting some bead board and tacking that up on my kitchen island.
Am going to go with this idea. It was my first thought after the flooring idea. The bead board is thicker so it should work perfect. Thanks for your advice tooππ
Hi! I have actually had better luck with wood look adhesive paper for projects like yours. It works for vertical surfaces as long as you clean and smooth the surface first. Good luck!
We used peel and stick in our basement (lots of traffic) and love it. https://alifeunfolding.com/peel-and-stick-vinyl-tile-for-our-basement-renovations-not-your-grandmas-vinyl/
