Hello sometimes the are made into stacking tiered trays. Chalk paints can modify them for decorative uses. Also sometimes they are cut in half and mounted on a board for wall display. Heres a few links

3 Easy Steps to Give New Life to an Old Wood Bowlhttps://www.hgtv.com/design/design-blog/how-to/3-easy-steps-to-give-new-life-to-an-old-wood-bowl
Hi,
Cut them in half and fix to a board to make little wall pockets. Fix them to an Aunt Susan and use for parties. Stack on top of each other and drill hole through centre and make a lamp base. Round base, Square timber screwed to base, Bowls screwed back to square timber at different levels for snacks or birds etc.
You could re sand them then wash and dry and seal with oil
Are you wanting to continue using them for food, or are you looking for ideas on how you can remake the bowls into a home decor item?
Tung oil and a good cleaning.
Sand them down and seal
I love to fill these with candles! Not, put candles in them, but make candles in them! They make lovely gifts then.
Small plant pots.....
Sand them lightly then rub them down with walnut oil. You might have to try a few grocery stores or health food stores. The benefit of walnut oil is that it is non-toxic. Rub the bowls, let them sit, then buff them until it looks pleasing.
This is a cool technique: https://www.sadieseasongoods.com/baking-soda-paint/
