This desk was handmade. There are measurements and scribbles all over the back and on the
I found this piece at my local Goodwill.
I honestly had NO IDEA where I wanted to go with this piece.
After burning through one belt and putting on a new one, I finally got it down to this.
Here is where the color comes in.
I think you will agree that this desk now fits with the style.

Barb in Texas on Feb 22, 2017I can't get over that my mind refuses to believe those feet hold that desk up....that and what a nice job you did. I feel your pain about things you grew up with, my childhood home was full of heavy, dark colonial furniture and avocado green everything, to this day driving past an Ethan Allen store makes me shudder. :)
