The Pink Toddler Bedroom

I always told myself I would never have pink walls in my daughter's room and here I am sharing a pinkalicious toddler room. Never say never, right? The previous owners painted the bedroom pink and luckily my daughter is obsessed with the color. She now calls it her "princess room".
Since the walls were already pink I worked around that color. I went with white furniture to soften the room. I found 2 prints that I immediately fell in love with at Hobby Lobby. The quote just happened to be something my husband and I say to my daughter back and forth frequently so it was perfect. The colors also worked well with the pink wall.
If you look really closely on the wall behind the bed, you can see small white vinyl hearts. I went with white hearts instead of a bold color because I didn't want them to be the main focus or overwhelming. In the mornings, the sunlight hits the hearts so they shine and provide a little unexpected sparkle to the room.
This dresser is one of my favorite pieces of furniture I own. It was handed down to me from family and I don't think I could ever part with it. I switched out the knobs to give the dresser a little extra detail and color. The mirror is a thrift store find that received a coat of white spray paint.
Check out other fun details from this room on my blog like a large gallery wall, pom pom garland tutorial, and my all-time favorite kids interactive magnet board!
