While re-doing my basement storage room into a kick-butt new craft room, I was looking for great new storage solutions. I found this really awesome old TV cabinet at the Goodwill store, and I knew I could make it into something really wonderful.
How cool is this transformation??
This is what it looked like before. It had beadboard sides and mirrored fronts. It really was lovely all on its own, but it looked more like something a little girl's room would have.
And with the doors open, you can see the big gaping hole in the back where I assume the TV could stick out.
I found some great removable wallpaper from Target, and I used it to jazz up the sides and cover the mirrors. It's so cute now!
Inside, I added some cute canvas storage bins that match the black and white theme. It's so organized in there now!
It is making my craft room organization project come along so well.

I do admit I like the original piece, but I might have chosen a mermaid theme for me. Just love your creativity. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
