I’m hoping that this sweater idea is only for sweaters that are beyond use by passing it on to someone who could really wear it.

I've been considering doing something like this with keep sake T-shirts from special occasions. Instead of taking up storage space, turn them into storage space. I was going to seal them with Modge Podge or thinned Elmer's Glue. One area of decor is Harley Davidson theme so storage boxes for gloves and other gear might be out of vintage Harley shirts. You can always spray paint a primer on the box first if you think the shirt won't cover it.

I like those ideas, it's the grown up version of turning old baby clothes into quilts, bears or bunnies. Things like that can also be cool throw pillows or something, but to me, turning it into a storage item is better and sticking it in a picture frame, leaving it in your closet for ages, or just getting rid of it.

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
How could you use old scarfs for this? Or opinion on how to use old scarfs🤷🏼♀️
scarfs are so cheap at thrift stores
I've been wondering about upcycling cardboard boxes. I have a lot that I recycle. I've asked this in another post. Will this attract termites..Since they eat cellulose. It would surely save me money if it didn't. Thanks,
Wouldn’t they attract moths and dust?
